Purpose of the role
In order to support our growth, the Talent Acquisition team is responsible for ensuring that recruitment projects are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
Reporting to Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will be required to develop strong internal relationships with hiring managers and develop a deep understanding of Air Arabia’s business in order to execute sometimes, very large recruitment campaigns. You will possess excellent written and communication skills, combined with the natural ability to provide guidance to hiring managers on all recruitment matters.
Main Responsibilities
• Recruitment and Selection for the Airline including but not limited to obtaining MRFs for the position; preparing, reviewing and updating job descriptions, placing advertisements; coordinating with recruitment agencies, universities, institutes to source qualified candidates; screening, short-listing applications and interviewing candidates to assess suitability.
• You will pro-actively ensure quality and standards of recruitment are being adhered to. You will be required to short-list applicants based on skill sets and competencies for the role, co-ordinates and assists line managers in the selection process.
• Interview personnel for positions and recommend suitability to senior management. You will also organize and conduct relevant assessment centers where required.
• You will prepare test materials for different roles and administer tests for the purposes of selection and/or development. You will also ensure personality assessments are conducted for senior positions.
• Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in preparation of weekly / monthly recruitment status reports which are forwarded to the HHR and Heads of Department. Ensures SLA on recruitment is being adhered. Ensures HOD’s are kept aware at all times on the status of recruitment for their respective departments.
• Ensure the documents/approvals are obtained before implementing a new recruitment campaign, maintain and update HR records to ensure completeness, validity and accessibility of recorded information.
• Co-ordinates the joining process for all newly recruited staff i.e. on employment visas requirements, travel, residence stamping and all other regulatory requirements. Co-ordinates with the Recruitment and Admin coordinators to ensure the processes are run efficiently.
• Undertakes HR related projects as and when directed.
Desired Profile
• Natural team player with ‘will do’ attitude.
• Ideally have gained qualification or studying for Recruitment/HR qualification.
• 3 + years’ experience in Recruitment preferably gained with an airline
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. (Ideal candidate will possess excellent written & verbal communication skills in Arabic
• Computer literate and familiar with MS-Office Suite
